As a Senior Project Leader in Transformations, you lead outsourcing and transformation assignments.
You are actively involved from the sales phase: participating in customer conversations, making proposals, playing your part in the conversion, leading the analysis/assessment, and converting to the assignment for implementation, all while considering the business case. You ensure success by delivering quality, added value, and impact while putting People Create Excellence at the center of your activities.
This means that the measurable and sustainable results that you and your team realize with the client are aimed at strengthening and accelerating the client’s course and making his team successful.
To this end, you actively participate. You lead client engagement and develop intimacy. You help the client and the project team push their boundaries. You think and act based on the result and the added value created for the client. Fulfilling the promise of ‘People Create Excellence’. Additionally, you work on follow-up assignments and on expanding the client.
This is a challenge you fulfill and have fulfilled. You develop an environment of colleagues—incl. Project Leaders—with whom you realize these types of assignments. You strategically build outsourcings and build-out transformations. Which is why you build our clients and keep them under management and development.
Contributing to PDM’s future
We work based on operational and development lines. Our super flat organization resembles the mix of a matrix and network structure. Based on this, your role actively involves you in virtually all aspects of PDM.
Based on your seniority, you will build a focused contribution to the development and planning of the PDM enterprise. As Sr Project Leader Transformations, you will help develop account development and sales, the impact of delivery, and our human capital by coaching team members in their development, and you will speak to new candidates whom you enthuse about PDM and critically evaluate. You’ll be financially responsible, participate in toolset development, and contribute to content creation.
At PDM, there is no hierarchy. We rely on our colleagues’ self-managing capabilities and authentic strengths. This operates within a framework of rules, as “informal” here does not mean “without responsibility.”
We are ambitious, competitive, and performance-oriented, providing a home for resilient and strong individuals. These people are our main asset, whom we support, facilitate, and coach in every way. This includes you, and in turn, you support others. Development and innovation are core to everything we do; we aim to cultivate these traits in everyone, every day. Your personal growth determines your future—there are no barriers or ceilings here. It’s challenging work, with a strong work ethic and a big smile.
We offer the opportunity to contribute to building a company with a mission. For us, it’s not about job titles or roles; it’s about who you will become and what you will contribute within the company.
What we expect
You have solid experience in development and production environments, ideally across several of the mentioned sectors—at the very least in manufacturing. Experience with technology development and improvement, as well as working in both the Netherlands and Belgium, is a plus.
A maximum of 13 years of proven, successful experience in improvements, changes, transitions, and transformations. You have demonstrated expertise in developing, shaping, and managing outsourcing projects.
You have a proven track record of successfully engaging and coaching at the Business Management level. You are skilled in Organizational Development and have mastered change management methodologies.
At least 6 years of proven, successful experience in the commercial process. Successful experience, talent, and ambition in business development are a significant advantage. If business building is your true passion, we can discuss the role of a Business Leader.
You possess a university-level mindset and working capacity. You are conceptual and have strong organizational skills. You are people-oriented, capable of influencing others, and focused on external perspectives. You adapt quickly, think top-down, and execute bottom-up. You also have a strong work ethic.
You take part, take initiative, and contribute. You are unaffected by status, authority, or power, and your focus is entirely on people and clients. You understand it’s not just about performing a task—you are driven to bring out the best in people and deliver for clients. Team competitiveness and performance mean everything to you. This is how you identify with our core values: discipline, stretch, trust, and support.
