As our Senior Business Leader for Design & Manufacturing, you’ll hold end-to-end responsibility for a cluster of clients and all their associated projects. These projects span complex machinery and product development and may involve design, procurement, assembly, testing, and implementation in active production environments. You’ll lead these projects with a team of project leaders, technical leaders, and team members, ensuring client needs and expectations are met, and team success and development are prioritized.
In this role, you’ll be involved from the earliest stages, supporting the client relationship from initial sales to proposal development and then into project delivery. You’ll work closely with your team to deliver quality, impact, and lasting value for clients, helping them strengthen and accelerate their business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Leadership: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring alignment on expectations, quality, and value delivery.
- Project Management: Lead diverse, multidisciplinary projects from design through to delivery, including procurement, assembly, and testing.
- Team Development: Inspire, guide, and support your project leaders and technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Business Growth: Engage with clients, develop new opportunities, and lead proposals that address complex client needs and result in sustainable project engagements.
- Client Value Creation: Drive measurable results for clients, enhancing their performance, competitive position, and overall success.

- Industry Experience: Extensive experience in development and manufacturing environments within some of our focus industries.
- Project and Client Leadership: 10+ years in project management within complex machinery and product development, with 5+ years of successful commercial experience.
- Strategic Mindset: Strong ability to manage enterprise-level complexity, balancing interests, risks, and responsibilities.
- Educational Background: University-level thinking with a strong conceptual and structural approach.
- People-Centered Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative, “outside-in” focus.
