PDM Corporate Management Services BV, a company incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands and registered with the Commercial Register under number 14624139, having its registered office at Kruisdonk 64 A, 6222 PH Maastricht, the Netherlands, and all its subsidiaries, hereafter referred to as PDM, is an expert agency specializing in optimizing production environments and developing technology for complex machine construction. PDM handles personal data carefully in its services and protects this information to the best of its ability.
We are responsible for the processing of your personal data. In this privacy statement, we explain what personal data are, which personal data we process, for what purpose, and how it is processed. Additionally, we explain the rights individuals have and how these rights can be exercised.
What personal data does PDM process, and for what purpose?
PDM processes various kinds of personal data, for various purposes. Below, we will explain which personal data are processed by PDM and for what purposes.
Performance of services
For the execution of our services contracts, we process the following personal data of our customers: name, address, postal code and place, contact details and payment details. If this is necessary for the performance of our services, we transfer your personal data to third parties.
To Inform (Potential) Clients About PDM’s Services and Make Offers
Purpose of processing:

- To gain insight into the demand for labor in the market

- Acquisition: contact details of client representatives
- Insight into the assignment: description of the company/activities, culture, assignment details, and desired profiles
- Offering services: contact details of representatives of potential clients, information about the sector in which the client operates
- Providing information about services: contact details of representatives of potential new clients, information about the sector in which clients operate
Establishing and Maintaining Business Relationships with Suppliers
Purpose of processing:
- To enter into and execute agreements

On our website, you can watch videos regarding our way of working. Although this video is displayed directly on our website, the video is stored with the professional video platform Youtube. If you watch the video on our website, a connection is made with Youtube. Youtube can then apply cookies on your device in order to display the video.

- For PDM’s promotion or marketing purposes, such as informing you about a new service that may be of interest to you, or to better cater to your needs.

In order to make personal offers to you, we collect commercially interesting information on persons, such as demographical data, by means of cookies. We can collect your personal data via third parties, such as our partners and social media websites dependent on your settings on those websites.
Social media
PDM can be found on several social media, such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. We can use your personal data when you use functions on these websites and/or apps, such as a “Facebook like”. If you use these functions, we can obtain your personal data via our social media.
Furthermore, our website makes use of buttons in order to promote our social media accounts. These buttons are functional due to a code from the social media platform. If you use such button, this button can place cookies, via which the social media platform can obtain your personal data such as your IP-address. We refer to the specific privacy statements of the social media platforms in which is explained which personal data are processed by the social media platforms.
Job application process
We process personal data when searching for candidates. In that regard, we process name, gender, contact details, motivation letters, information regarding educational levels and employment history of the applicant. This information is relevant for following the job application process and will be deleted ultimately four weeks after the end of the application process. If you consent to this, we can retain your personal data for a maximum of one year, so that we can contact you at a later time.
For recruitment

Purpose of processing:
- To generate interest in PDM
- To enable individuals to apply online
- To respond to inquiries from individuals

- PDM’s response to inquiries: contact details and job vacancies/responses from individuals
- Personal data voluntarily provided by individuals on PDM’s social media, such as comments on posts/ads and private messages via social media channels.
Applying at PDM
Purpose of processing:
- To assess the suitability and availability of a candidate for employment at PDM
- To create and share a CV with clients based on the PDM template
- To select candidates for PDM vacancies and client vacancies
- To create digital files for candidates
- To conduct assessments
Personal data we may process:
- Personal information: first and last name, date of birth, gender, nationality
- Contact details: home address, email address, phone number
- Education: education, training, diplomas, certificates
- Skills: expertise, language proficiency
- Work history: previous and current employers, roles, and experience
- Application information: CV, cover letter
- Notes from PDM employees
- Assessment of suitability and availability: education, experience, role-related and budget-related criteria
- For creating and sharing CVs with clients based on the PDM format: first and last name, date of birth, place of residence, nationality, profile/motivation, (relevant) education and courses, (relevant) work experience, language and software skills
- Selection of candidates: education, experience, skills, references, role-related criteria
- Digital file: CVs and other documents, such as (application) interview notes, personal notes, etc.
Employees
PDM processes personal data of its employees, in the framework of the performance of the employment contract with the employee. We are also legally obligated to process certain personal data. For more information regarding the processing of personal data of employees, we refer to our PDM Intranet.
For employment or contractor agreements
Purpose of processing:
- To record personal data necessary for compliance with laws and regulations
- To execute employment agreements
Personal data we may process:
- Personnel File: Personal data that must be processed based on labor law, tax and social security regulations, such as copies of identity documents or passports, visas, work permits, social security numbers (BSN), and information necessary for administration, such as contact details.
- Additional documents: Certificate of Conduct, confidentiality agreements, certifications
- Financial data: salary, bank account numbers
- Financial data in the case of external service providers: company details, rates, and, in the case of freelancers (self-employed without employees), data required for assessing the employment relationship under the DBA law, such as the number of assignments, type of assignments, and duration of the assignment.
- Other data related to the preparation of personnel, payroll, and absence records: license plate of leased car, laptop (if provided for business use), mobile phone (if provided for business use), personal data of partner and/or children for pension administration.
- Working in or from abroad: personal data required for work permits, visas, taxes, housing.

You can contact us via our website. In order to answer your questions as completely as possible, we process your name, e-mail address, telephone number and personal message for us.
Who is responsible for processing my personal data?
If you do business with PDM, we are responsible for processing your personal data in that context.
When does PDM share personal data?
Internal sharing: We share personal data within PDM only with authorized employees. All employees have a duty of confidentiality.
- With clients: We share personal data of candidates and employees with clients. We use a PDM CV template based on the individual’s information.
- With processors: we transfer your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of a services agreement. We engage suppliers who process personal data on our behalf. We ensure this is done according to our expectations by signing a data processing agreement.
- With other responsible parties: We collaborate with external parties that may involve the exchange of personal data, such as screening or training providers. We ensure agreements are in place regarding the careful handling of personal data.
- Law enforcement: We provide personal data to the police or judiciary only when legally obligated.
PDM can transfer your personal data from the Netherlands to another country. Countries within the European Economic Area have a similar level of data protection, which means that we can transfer your personal data to these countries under the general requirements of the GDPR.
We can also transfer your personal data to a party located outside the European Economic Area. In such event, we will ensure that there is an adequate level of personal data protection. For this, we use the standard contractual clauses that are made available by the European Commission.
What rights do individuals have?
We respect individuals’ rights regarding their personal data. Some rights can always be exercised, while others are subject to conditions.
For example, we cannot comply with a request to delete personal data if there is a legal obligation to retain it for a specific period. Individuals can exercise the following rights:
- Right of access: upon your request, we will inform you in writing whether we are processing your personal data. In our response, we will explain which of your personal data we have processed or are still processing and we will provide you with a copy. We will also explain the purposes for which the data have been or are still being processed, the parties with which the data are being shared, the period for which these data are expected to be stored, and which other rights you can exercise.
- Right of rectification: if you have received details about the processing of your personal data, you can request us to correct inaccuracies or to make additions to incomplete information. We will motivate our response. If we make corrections, you will receive a supplementary statement from us. That statement will also be sent to any recipients of your incorrect or incomplete data.
- Data deletion: you can request us to delete your personal data in our systems in one or more of the following cases:
- the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which we processed them;
- you withdraw your consent for processing or further processing and no other basis for processing exists;
- you lodge a motivated objection, and there are no urgent reasons for not respecting your objection;
- the personal data have been wrongfully processed by us;
- we have to delete your personal data on the basis of a statutory obligation.
- we have collected your data by means of mobile telephony or Internet services.
- Right to restrict processing: if you have notified us of an inaccuracy or incompleteness in your personal data, you can request us to limit the processing for as long as we are dealing with your request. You may also request us to limit the processing of your data if you believe that we are wrongfully processing your data or if we no longer need them, or if you have lodged and objection against the processing or the further processing of the data. After the receipt of your limitation request, we will continue to process the data only with your consent or if there are compelling reasons for doing so (such as legal proceedings).
- Right to data portability: if you have provided us with personal data in a structured, customary digital file format and we have processed your data with your consent or in the context of implementing an agreement with you, you will be entitled to request a copy of these data from us. In such cases, you can also request that your data be transferred directly to another service provider.
- Objection: you may lodge an objection at all times against the processing of personal data relating to you. That applies particularly to profiles that we have created on the basis of your personal data. We will cease processing your data following the receipt of your objection, unless we can put forward urgent justifiable reasons that outweigh your interests, rights and liberties. If we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you may object at any time and we will cease processing immediately.
These rights can only be exercised concerning one’s own personal data and may be subject to the legal basis for data collection. If you wish to exercise one or more of the rights summarised above, you can contact us via the following e-mail address hc@pdm-group.com. PDM will take a decision regarding your request within four weeks, unless we inform you within that period that we need a bit more time. PDM may ask individuals to verify their identity.
If your personal data are processed on the basis of your consent, you will be entitled to withdraw that consent. Any withdrawal of your consent will not prejudice previous processing on the basis of that consent.
For how long does PDM store personal data?
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary. Sometimes, we are legally required to keep it for a specific period. After the retention period expires or following a legitimate request for deletion, we remove personal data from our systems.
For the situations outlined below, we apply the following retention periods:
- Recruitment via external sources: a maximum of 30 days after being identified by PDM, we will contact you to express our interest.
- For candidates who are not employed by PDM and have never worked for PDM but have expressed an interest in PDM, we retain personal data for 2 years from the date of inclusion in PDM’s records.
How does PDM secure personal data?
PDM takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect individuals’ privacy and the confidentiality of their personal data. Our infrastructure is continuously monitored for threats or attacks, and actions are taken accordingly. We have a policy for timely reporting of data breaches. Furthermore, only authorized personnel have access to personal data within our organization.
Does PDM process special categories of personal data?
Special categories of personal data include sensitive data like medical or criminal information. We only process such data if legally required, with your consent, or at your request. If you ask us to record particular personal data or if you make this information public yourself, we will only process it if necessary for our services.
Does PDM use cookies?
PDM uses cookies when offering its services. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone when you visit a website. Our Cookie Statement explains PDM’s cookie use.
Liability
Despite the care and attention paid to the management of this website, it is possible that the website contains incorrect information. PDM cannot be held liable for technical or editorial errors that occur in this website, nor for any consequential damage resulting from the use or the temporary unavailability of this website or the links to the website of third parties.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about the use of your personal data, we refer you to the complaints procedure at the Dutch Data Protection Authority. This body is authorised to examine your complaint.
