At PDM, our identity is rooted in two inseparable elements:
the wordmark “PDM”
the stylized horse taking the lead.
Our story began in 1971, when Piet Mesterom founded the company with a clear vision: to redesign, improve, and maintain production environments. Back then, PDM stood for Project Development and Management. Over time, we have grown into a full-service partner, guiding our clients from design all the way through to implementation.
But there’s more to our story. From the very beginning, our logo has featured the horse with four dots. This design is inspired by the legend of the Ros Beiaard and the Four Sons of Aymon. The four sons symbolize loyalty, courage, resistance to injustice, and above all, the strength of brotherhood. In the legend, the mighty stallion saves the brothers time and again with his intelligence, speed, and strength.
That legend still inspires us today. For us, the horse is more than just a symbol. It represents who we are and what we stand for. And that’s why, in everything we do, the horse always leads the way.
