Jermain was nearing the completion of his mechatronics studies when contacted by PDM through LinkedIn. Despite not having finished his study program, he was eager to embark on an internship opportunity. Embracing this chance, Jermain began his adventure with PDM.

A Promising Internship at PDM

During his internship, Jermain worked on an innovative robotic arm equipped with a control and vision system for handling and moving objects. This project aligned seamlessly with his expertise, and PDM was satisfied with the outcomes. Impressed by Jermain’s work, his mentor and team offered him a permanent contract at PDM.

Jermain enthusiastically accepted the offer, as he enjoyed the work environment and team dynamics at PDM. Now, approximately ten months into his position, Jermain has acquired substantial knowledge and practical skills in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and instrumentation and control technology.

At PDM, Jermain is progressively trusted with more responsibilities and actively encouraged to further refine his skills. His current projects focus on electromechanics and system design, nevertheless, PDM motivates him to explore other domains. His main goal is to become a versatile engineer and expand his knowledge in robotics. He sees his growth as aligned with the company’s direction, staying committed to continuous learning and improvement.
